What You’ll Find at Riverside Care Centre
Riverside is a purpose-built care centre with 24 bedrooms, all with en-suite shower rooms, split over three individual two-storey houses; Catesby, Littleton and Winter. This offers smaller, more relaxed living communities, each with unique personalities.
Each of our houses benefits from bright and homely communal areas including a comfortable lounge, an independent living kitchen, and dining spaces.
In addition to this, we have outside areas surrounded by leafy views, where the people we support can enjoy catching up with family and friends in the warmer months.
Promoting active living and empowering the people we support to participate in their community are big parts of life here at Riverside. Our minibus provides access to an active social life including cinema trips, shopping, bowling and holidays to name a few.

A homely, personalised space
Riverside has been designed with the people we support in mind. All our residential rooms are equipped with en-suite facilities, are light and airy and have been designed with comfort, privacy and ease of access in mind.
We actively encourage individuals to personalise their rooms, and these can be individually decorated to each resident’s preference – we want our residents to feel comfortable, safe and at home.
In addition to this, the centre is well-signposted and has level entryways and wide doorways to assist those with mobility issues. There’s also a safe garden and accessible patio area which can be enjoyed when the weather is nice.
Residents and their relatives are placed at the heart of everything we do and offer, from pre-admission to living in one of our houses. We encourage maximum choice and control over key decisions, fully backed with the appropriate policies, systems and support required to deliver this every day.
Mealtimes are important to us
We support residents to maintain a balanced diet and where possible we cater for individual preferences and dietary requirements.
Promoting independence is at the heart of everything we do, including at mealtimes. Each of our three houses has a training kitchen so we can help the people we support to develop daily living skills, such as preparing meals and baking.
For those who require additional assistance with mealtimes, or for those days where a person doesn’t feel like cooking, our staff are on hand to provide breakfast, lunch and dinner.
