About Us
Riverside Care Centre is a homely residential setting for those with learning differences, with a highly skilled and devoted team delivering person-centred care and support across three individual houses. Each of our three houses, with just 8 bedrooms per house, offers a unique environment with its own dedicated team and senior support worker.
Our team of support workers and activity coordinators are experienced in working with adults with a mental health and/or learning disability diagnosis and in managing behaviours of concern.
Care and support are available 24/7, but we work closely with the people we support to help them achieve as much independence as possible. With an independent living skills kitchen and laundry in each house, people have the choice to get involved in daily tasks as much or as little as they choose.
We ensure that everyone has access to external medical professionals including speech and language therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, general practitioners, and other specialists. As well as providing transport for medical appointments, our minibus enables access to an active social life, days out and holidays for the people we support.
While we recognize that everyone is different, our principles remain the same; to support people to be as independent as possible and to ensure that every day is well-lived.
